Herb, the owner and primary plumber, came to 3 of our building meetings before the project started to answer questions and provide recommendations. Once the project was underway Herb completed the work quickly and thoroughly; providing updates and continued communication each step of the way. All of the unit owners occupied their units all the way through construction and Butterfield did an excellent job working with this to minimize the necessary demolition and cleaning up at the end of every day. In the process of selling my condo, the inspection turned up some plumbing problems to be fixed, which needed to be addressed right away, of course. I contacted Butterfield, they were able to send Doug out that day to give me an estimate. I scheduled the work, and they gave me a specific time that Doug would be there. (Another plumber I’ve worked with gave me a 4-hour window, and then didn’t even show up within that timeframe.) The initial plan for some of the work couldn’t be done, but Doug was flexible and came up with another plan right away. All costs were reasonable, and the actual work came in a little below the estimate – always a nice perk. I really appreciated their quick response to my need, and doing such a great job.
